Hey Everyone,

Thank you all for praying.  We have a few prayer requests.  First, today we took our son to the doctor as he has had some swelling in his lower abdomen.  They found that he has a cyst which would have developed pre-birth.  He has to have surgery to have it removed.  We have him scheduled for surgery the day after we get home from our conference.  Please pray for our son and pray that God would remove this cyst to where he does not need surgery.

One of our other children had also been complaining of pain in his heel, and we took him to the doctor.  They did an X-ray and diagnosed him with Sever's disease, which is an inflammation of the growth plate in his heel.  He will not be able to play soccer or do any other physical activity for the next 1-3 months.

Also, please be praying as we are still planning on leaving this Sunday for the global conference with our org.  There has been some warfare, including the father of one man who is coming with us who just had emergency surgery and now our son.  Please pray for this time.
