Meet the Pastor

Aldersgate is led by senior pastor Dr. Jeff L. Wilson.

A native of Kentucky, Jeff is a graduate of Centre College in Kentucky, where he received a BA in Religion. He graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Spirituality from Columbia Theological Seminary. Jeff is an ordained Elder in the Alabama-West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. In addition to his duties at Aldersgate, he serves as Chair of the Montgomery-Opelika District Committee on Ordained Ministry and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Nellie Burge Community Center.

Jeff is married to Rev. Robin Crews Wilson, who serves in the Bishop's office as Director of Ministerial Services for the Alabama-West Florida Conference. Jeff and Robin have three children, ages 7, 6 and 3.
